The Patti Knezevic rink dropped its third consecutive game at the B.C. Scotties Tournament of Hearts women's provincial curling championship on Thursday afternoon.

On the ice in Coquitlam, Knezevic and her Prince George Golf and Curling Club team lost 9-5 in nine ends to Amanda Russett of Kamloops.

Knezevic led 4-2 after five ends but Russett scored three in the sixth to move into a 5-4 advantage. Russett then stole a single point in the seventh end to pad her lead. Knezevic settled for a single with the hammer in the eighth and then Russett closed things out with three points in the ninth.

Knezevic and rinkmates Kristen Pilote, Jen Rusnell and Rhonda Camozzi saw their record slip to 1-3, while Russett improved to 1-3. Karla Thompson of Kamloops leads the eight-team bonspiel with a 4-0 record and is followed by Kelowna's Kelly Scott (3-1).

Knezevic, the defending champion, won her Tuesday opener 5-4 over Kesa Van Osch but then lost both her Wednesday games, 9-6 to Sarah Wark and 9-7 to Thompson.

Knezevic will play Diane Gushulak of New Westminster (2-2) tonight at 6:30.
