Patti Knezevic's shot for a chance to compete for a B.C. Scotties title ended Saturday morning.
Knezevic and her Prince George rink lost 12-6 to Abbotsford's Allison MacInnes in the Page 3-4 playoff game in the provincial women's curling championship at the Prince George Golf and Country Club.
The loss eliminates Knezevic from contention, while MacInnes advances to tonight's semifinal (7 p.m.) against Kesa Van Osch of Victoria.
The Page 3-4 game was tied at 6-6 after eight ends, but Knezevic gave up two consecutive steals of three in the ninth and 10th ends to hand MacInnes the win.
With her last rock, Knezevic attempted to draw to the four-foot against three MacInnes stones in the 10th end. The rock over-curled and raised MacInnes' stone for the steal of three.
It was MacInnes' fourth straight win after she had to win three tiebreakers Friday just to qualify for the fourth and final playoff spot.
MacInnes edged Tracey Jones of Prince George 6-5 in extra ends in the final tiebreaker late Friday night. Jones' draw came up light allowing MacInnes to steal for the win.
The winner of tonight's semifinal game advances to Sunday's championship final at 5 p.m. and will face defending champ Kelly Scott and her rink from Kelowna.
