For the second time in less than two weeks, Mark O'Shaughnessy is Nova Scotia-bound.

The Prince George Spruce Kings announced Wednesday they've traded the 19-year-old defenceman to the Truro Bearcats of the Maritime Hockey Association for future considerations.

On Oct. 14, the Spruce Kings acquired O'Shaughnessy in a deal with the Bearcats for futures.

The five-foot-11, 195-pound former Merritt Centennial played four games for the Spruce Kings and picked up one assist. The Cents traded him to Truro on Oct. 6 for future considerations, but the Kelowna native wanted to stay in his home province and vetoed the deal. Now it appears he's had a change of heart.

In 56 games over two seasons with Merritt, including seven games with the Cents this season, O'Shaughnessy totaled four goals and 18 points.

The Spruce Kings will play host to the Coquitlam Express Friday and Saturday at Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.
