Kings secure eight player commitments

In the aftermath of the Prince George Spruce Kings spring camp the club has received commitments from eight players for the 2012-2013 British Columbia Hockey League season.

In the aftermath of the Prince George Spruce Kings spring camp the club has received commitments from eight players for the 2012-2013 British Columbia Hockey League season.

The newly signed prospects include: forwards Alec Butcher, 18, Anchorage, AK; Bryant Christian, 19, Moorhead, Minn.; Michael Fretz, 18, Snohomish, Wash.; Ryan Keis, 18, Quesnel ; Jeremiah Luedtke, Lynwood, Wash., and Chad Staley, 18, Kennewick, Wash. Liam McLeod, a 17-year-old goaltender from Kamloops also committed to the Kings.

Prince George product and former Cariboo Cougars' captain Tanner Fjellstrom signed with his hometown team earlier this week.
