The Prince George Spruce Kings will start the B.C. Hockey League playoffs away from home.
The Spruce Kings will take on the Chilliwack Chiefs in a best-of-five series that will begin Friday, March 15 in Chilliwack. The teams will be back at Prospera Centre for Game 2 the next night, while Game 3 is scheduled for Monday, March 18 at the Prince George Coliseum.
If required, Game 4 will be held on March 19 at the Coliseum. The Chiefs would host Game 5 on March 20.
The Kings sit third in the Mainland Division with a 25-21-1-8 record, while the Chiefs are second at 31-21-1-1.
The Spruce Kings will finish their regular-season schedule Saturday at the Coliseum (7 p.m.) against the Silverbacks. The Chiefs, meanwhile, will visit the Langley Rivermen on Thursday and will end their season with a home game against Langley on Saturday.
