Kings out to sink Rivermen

The Spruce Kings and Rivermen will face off tonight at the Coliseum (7 p.m.) in the first game of a doubleheader. The back half will be played on Friday night.

Heading into the contests, the third-place Kings (22-17-1-7) are eight points up on the Rivermen (19-21-1-5) but Langley has a game in hand.

Offensively, the Kings are being led by Coltyn Hansen, who has 17 goals and 39 points in 46 games. The top point producer for the Rivermen is Mario Puskarich, who has 65 points (31 goals, 34 assists) in 46 games.

The Rivermen have former Cariboo Cougar Nathan Craft in their lineup. In 44 games, Craft has contributed seven goals and 18 points.
