In case you can't get to the Prince George Spruce Kings home opener at the Coliseum on Friday, Sept. 11, the game will be broadcast live on FM radio.

Ryan Lepper, the new Spruce Kings play-by-play broadcaster, will team up with colour commentator Ron St. Clair to provide the descriptions of the on-ice action when the Kings take on the newest expansion team in the B.C. Hockey League, the Wenatchee Wild.

The Wenatchee game will be one of six home games and two road games broadcast live on The Drive, 99.3 FM.

Other Kings home games on The Drive schedule are Oct. 3 (Penticton), Nov. 22 (an afternoon game against Powell River), Dec. 11 (Chilliwack), Jan. 15 (Victoria) and Feb. 27 (the final game of the regular season against Surrey).

The Kings' broadcast crew will also take to the road for games Nov. 7 in Alberni Valley and Feb. 12 in Wenatchee, Wash.
