The Prince George Spruce Kings need suitable homes for their out-of-town talent.
The local junior A hockey club is seeking billet families for the 2012-13 BCHL season. Each player requires a bedroom or one he can share with another team member. The billet family must also provide meals, though sometimes players will be responsible for preparing their own food. Players are also responsible for looking after their own transportation needs.
As well, players are expected to follow all team and house rules and to treat family members with consideration and respect.
To cover expenses, billet families will be paid twice monthly for each player in their home.
Players are 16 to 20 years in age and will start arriving in mid-August.
Those interested in billeting a player or players are asked to call 250-564-1747 or to send an e-mail to [email protected].
