The Prince George skip and his team (third Cliff Warner, second Jay Winkel and lead Trent Blair) lost their final round-robin game Thursday afternoon 7-3 to Chad Stevens of Nova Scotia and finished the 11-team tournament in fifth place with a 5-5 record.

Under the Page playoff format, only the top four teams qualify for playoffs.

King's crew of firefighters is the first all-Prince George team to win the B.C. provincial title.

First-place Saskatchewan (10-0) will take on second-place Alberta (9-1) this morning with the winner advancing directly to Saturday's final. In the other game today, Nova Scotia (8-2) will play Southern Ontario (7-3). The losers of today's games will play a semifinal this afternoon.
