The ground attack of the Duchess Park Condors proved lethal for the Nechako Valley Vikings.

In a weekend junior varsity high school football game, the Condors rushed for 391 yards in a 30-0 win against the Vanderhoof-based Vikings. Three members of the Condors - Caleb Cruse, Daniel Stratton and Rylan Matters - all went over the 100-yard mark in the contest. Cruse ran for 120 yards and one touchdown on five carries, Stratton rumbled 101 yards on 11 carries and also had a touchdown, while Matters scampered for 105 yards and a touchdown on six carries. Running backs Denver Petersen, Spencer Schouwenburg, TJ Kirakos and Brady Martin contributed to Duchess Park's rushing totals.

Led by Matt Kelley, the Condors' offensive line came up huge in the game and that allowed the backs to do their damage.

Cruse, the Duchess quarterback, completed five of eight passing attempts and threw for one touchdown. He also kicked a field goal and was 1-for-3 on point-after conversions.
