Local judo clubs will be well-represented at the Saskatchewan Open.
At the tournament, being held in Regina this weekend, five Prince George judokas will be fighting as part of Team B.C. Lavanna Laass (Hart Judo Academy), Kristen Yawney (Prince George Judo Club), Taylor Schaus (PGJC), Branden Edwards (PGJC) and Ryan Russell (PGJC) will be on the mats Saturday and Sunday.
The event features Under-14, U-16, U-18, U-21, senior and masters divisions.
