Howse shines, Bourke shows promise, Connolly returns

It wasn't a win, but fans of the Prince George Cougars had a couple significant reasons to cheer Tuesday night at CN Centre.

During a 7-4 loss to the Chilliwack Bruins, highly-touted prospect Troy Bourke made his home-ice debut for the Cougars and scored two goals. Also, the long-injured Brett Connolly got back into game action and was in fine form, thank you very much.

Unfortunately for the Cats, Chilliwack forward and Prince George product Ryan Howse once again burned his hometown team. Howse, a draft pick of the NHL's Calgary Flames, fired a hat trick and added one assist.
