Darrell Horwath wants the two grand.

To fill his wallet, he'll have to run fast and clean all weekend at PGARA Speedway Park, site of the PGARA Invitational.

"Hopefully we're going to be right up on top -- that's our goal," said Horwath, the season points leader in the Richmond Steel street stock division. "It's definitely going to be some hard racing. Our class is so close this year that anybody and everybody (will challenge for the money). Right from the slowest car to the quickest car, I think we're seven-tenths of a second between 14 cars so it's going to be some close racing."

Horwath has accumulated 132 points through four PGARA race days. At the Saturday and Sunday invitational, the street stock driver who picks up the most points will also grab $2,000 in prize money.
