The Prince George Cougars' former head coach has a new hockey home.
Mark Holick has been hired by HC Pustertal, the Italian team announced Sunday.
"Welcome to Bruneck," HC Pustertal Tweeted Sunday.
With one year left on his contract, Holick and the Cougars announced they were mutually parting ways in April. Cougars GM Todd Harkins has since tapped Richard Matvichuk for the top coach spot.
Holick, 47, joined the Cougars in January 2013 after stints in the AHL with the Syracuse Crunch and WHL with the Kootenay Ice, where he was named WHL coach of the year.
His overall record with the Cougars was 101-121-3-17.
