The Greater Strides Hockey Academy will set up in Prince George for a three-day hockey camp, Aug. 24-26 at the Kin Centre and Aquatic Centre.
Former NHL player Georges Laraque is slated to make a special appearance at the camp. The summer camp focuses on areas of on-ice skills development, dry-land training, hockey talk, swim time and learning to have fun.
Greater Strides is based in Calgary and specializes in helping Aboriginal players work at achieving their dreams and overcoming the various obstacles they may face.
