The Prince George Youth Volleyball Club had four players earn Team B.C. spots this summer.
For the second consecutive year Jordan Foot will play on the under-18 boys team. The six-foot-six, middle blocker will start his first year at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops in the fall.
Siblings Kristen and Thomas Anton also cracked the Team B.C. line up against 72 players at the Baden Cup tryout, July 3-6, in Kamloops. Kristen, a six-foot-one, middle blocker, made the girls under-18 team, while brother Thomas, six-foot-three, middle blocker, made the under-16 boys team. Thomas will start Grade 11 at Cedars Christian school in the fall, while Kristen heads into Grade 12.
Hallie Drezet, a five-foot-seven setter, earned a spot on the girls under-16 team that will compete at the 2013 Western Elites in Regina, July 19-21. Drezet will head to Grade 10 at Duchess Park in the fall.
