The Colorado Eagles of the East Coast Hockey League announced Wednesday afternoon they've signed the 20-year-old Prince George Cougars sniper to a pro contract.

Fiddler agreed to terms of a deal this week, after putting the cap on a 50-goal, 98-point season with the Cougars Saturday at CN Centre. He was expected to join the Eagles on the road in Boise, Idaho, where the Eagles were playing the Steelheads Wednesday night.

On Tuesday, former Cougars defenceman Jesse Forsberg joined the Eagles after completing a five-year WHL career with the Cougars, Seattle Thunderbirds and Moose Jaw Warriors.

The 20 year-old spent five seasons playing defence in the Western Hockey League with the Prince George Cougars, Seattle Thunderbirds and the Moose Jaw Warriors. In two games this season with Seattle and 58 games with the Warriors he collected 10 goals and 26 assists for 36 points.

Forsberg was captain of the Cougars in the 2011-12 season. In his WHL career, the six-foot-one, 215-pound native of Waldheim, Sask., picked up 107 points and 619 penalty minutes in 296 games.
