The Cats, who hadn't played in almost three weeks, finally got back into action on the weekend when they battled Kelowna's Pursuit of Excellence Hockey Academy in a three-game exhibition series at the Kin Centre. Against Pursuit, the local bantam Tier 1 reps came away with a respectable 1-2 record. The Cougars won 4-0 on Saturday morning, lost 5-1 Saturday night and fell 6-3 on Sunday.

POE is one of the strongest clubs in B.C. so Cougars head coach Sean LeBrun was generally pleased with the overall results.
