The Griffins, with a record of 7-1 heading into the game, were in town to take on the Timberwolves, who had a record of 1-7. After the final whistle, the Griffins walked away with a 73-58 victory.
The same two teams will meet again Saturday at 5 p.m. at the Northern Sports Centre.
