After four weeks in the CFL picks game:

Ted Clarke 3-1 last week; 9-3 overall

Peter James 3-1 last week; 12-4 overall

Sheri Lamb 3-1 last week; 10-6 overall

Mark Nielsen 3-1 last week; 8-4 overall

Eskimos(1-3) at Alouettes (1-3)

Tonight (4:30 p.m., TSN)

Clarke - Bottom feeders of the West will push new Als head coach Dan Hawkins closer to the firing squad. Pick: Edmonton by eight.

James - Is it too early to start talking about a possible playoff cross-over? Pick: Alouettes by four.

Lamb - A match up between two of the three teams expected to fight for the final playoff spot in the East division (the Blue Bombers are the third team). Pick: Eskimos by one.

Nielsen - After last week's embarrassment against Calgary, the Als will be ready to take out their frustrations against that other Alberta team. Montreal by eight.

Stampeders (3-1) at Blue Bombers (1-3)

Friday (5 p.m., TSN)

Clarke - Surprise, surprise, Buck Pierce is injured again. Justin Goltz gets his first start at QB. The Stamps are already licking their chops. Pick: Calgary by 10.

James - Calgary's offence is clicking regardless of who is under centre and Winnipeg's defence took a big step back last week. Pick: Stampeders by eight.

Lamb - Justin Goltz makes his first start behind centre for the Bombers but the Stampeders are too good. Pick: Stampeders by 10.

Nielsen - The real question is not whether the Stampeders will win but whether the Blue Bombers will score a touchdown. Time to get a new general manager in Winnipeg. Calgary by 21.

Roughriders (4-0) at Tiger-Cats (1-3)

Saturday (4:30 p.m., TSN)

Clarke - Rider Pride shows no signs of diminishing, but Burris and Company will show teeth and claws. Pick: Saskatchewan by three.

James - The only concern in Riderville right now is if quarterback Darian Durant and crew are peaking too soon. Pick: Roughriders by 15.

Lamb - The Ti-cats will put points on the board at home but the Roughriders remain undefeated. Pick: Riders by 15.

Nielsen - More often than not, home-and-homes end in a split. The Tiger-Cats won't get a shutout but they'll get the two points. Tiger-Cats by 10.

Lions (3-1) at Argonauts (2-2)

Tuesday (4:30 p.m., TSN)

Clarke - Two teams heading in opposite directions. No Ricky Ray, no Chad Kackert, Argos in trouble. Pick: B.C. by nine.

James - Without Ricky Ray at the helm due to a possible injury, the Argonauts will be a lost ship. Pick Lions by nine.

Lamb - The Lions against an Argos team without running back Chad Kackert and possibly their starting QB. Pick: Lions by 10.

Nielsen - The injury bug has hit the Argos hard and Chad Owens can't do it all. Lions by 17.
