Monday at noon is the deadline for nominations for Rising Star awards, which recognize outstanding athletic achievement.
Sponsored by Engage Sport North, formerly known as PacificSport Northern B.C., as many as four athletes will qualify for the award, to be presented Feb. 9 at the Canadian Tire Fan The Flame awards banquet, which will feature guest speaker Scott Russell of CBC Sports.
The Monday nomination deadline and four-award limit also applies to the 2015 Canada Winter Games Legacy Sport Difference Maker award for extraordinary contribution to sport.
