Destiny is in the sticks of the Shooters Pub Devils this week.

The Devils were the only team with two games left on their Prince George Senior Lacrosse Association schedule when the final week of regular season began. With a 3-7 record, the Devils were in a three-way tie with the Twisted Cork/Regional Security Stylers (3-8) and the Quesnel Crossfire (3-8) in the battle for the final two playoff spots.

The Devils were in Quesnel on Monday night and will face the Stylers at the Coliseum, 8 p.m., in the final game of the regular season on Thursday.

The winner of Monday's game clinches a playoff spot, leaving the loser vulnerable to missing the post-season if the Stylers beat the Devils in the finale. Both the Crossfire and Devils were on the outside of the playoff picture in 2012.

Unlike the Crossfire, who will need help if they lost Monday, the Devils will be on the floor and just need to win one of their two games to earn a playoff spot.

The other game this week features the first-place BX Pub Bandits and the second-place College Heights Pub Assault renewing their rivalry one last time before playoffs,

Wednesday, 8 p.m. at the Coliseum.

The Stylers are in danger of missing the playoffs after three losses last week, dropping a 21-12 decision to the Bandits, falling 16-10 to the Assault and trekking to Quesnel on Saturday only to suffer a 12-3 defeat.

Matt Rochon held the hot stick for the

Stylers last week racking up nine goals and seven assists, including scoring all three goals Saturday night.

Results from Monday's game in Quesnel were unavailable at press time.

The best-of-five semifinal series will begin next Monday and will wrap up by Wednesday, July 10. All games will be played at the Coliseum starting at 8 p.m.

The top-seeded Bandits will play the fourth seed (either the Devils, Crossfire or Stylers) next week on Tuesday and Thursday, with Game 3 slated for Wednesday, July 3. If necessary, Games 4 and 5 will be played Monday, July 8 and Wed. July 10.

The second-seeded Assault will play the third seed (Devils or Crossfire) with games Monday and Wednesday next week and Game 3 slated for Tuesday, July 2. If necessary, Games 4 and 5 will be played Thursday, July 4 and Tuesday, July 9.

Dates for the best-of-seven championship series will be decided after the semifinals are complete.
