The Westwood Pub Devils went 24-0 last season, all the way to the B.C. senior C lacrosse championship.

That victory string remains intact for the Devils now that the new season has begun in the Prince George Senior Lacrosse Association. They made it 25 straight in their first game of the season Thursday night at the Coliseum, demolishing the Quesnel Crossfire 16-2.

Pierce Watson was the big gun for Westwood with four goals and two assists. Blake McIntosh struck for three goals and former Crossfire forward Cameron Braun collected two goals and four assists. Bryson Waffle picked up both Quesnel goals.

The Devils will be in Quesnel tonight (6 p.m.) to play the Cowboy Ranch Stylers, followed by the BX Pub Bandits-Crossfire game at 8 p.m. Both games are at Quesnel Twin Arenas.
