Deschamps rumbles to weekly honour

The third-year running back from Prince George was part of the charge that saw the T-birds overcome a 27-point deficit to earn a 39-36 win. Deschamps rushed for 212 yards on 28 carries, scored touchdowns on 38-yard and five-yard runs and had an additional 14 yards receiving.

The graduate of Kelly Road secondary school led Canada West in rushing in 2012 and is the leading rusher after the first two weeks of the 2013 season. In two games Deschamps has 305 yards rushing, an

average of 7.7 yards per carry.
