Deschamps bright spot in UBC loss

Prince George's Brandon Deschamps was one of the few bright spots for the UBC Thunderbirds football team as they opened the Canada West season Saturday with a 31-24 loss to the Manitoba Bisons at David Sidoo Field in front of 1,868 Vancouver fans.

The former Kelly Road Roadrunners running back had had 97 yards along the ground on 13 carries for the T-birds.
