Brett Zarowny has impressed Prince George Cougars fans all season with his acrobatics in the net and now the Western Hockey League has taken notice.

In 17 appearances for the Cougars this season Zarowny has allowed 42 goals in 848 minutes played and has an 8-7 record with two shutouts. Overall he has a .910 save percentage and a 2.97 goals against average.
The WHL player of the week was Josh Nicholls of the Saskatoon Blades, collecting three goals and five assists as the Blades posted a 4-0 record last week.
The Cougars (12-18-1-3) return to action after Christmas with a pair of games in Victoria against the Royals (17-14-0-2) on Dec. 28 and 29 before wrapping up the road trip Dec. 30 against the Giants (9-25) in Vancouver.
