Cougars to hit TV airwaves twice on Shaw

The Prince George Cougars will make two appearances on Shaw TV during the 2013-14 Western Hockey League season. Both times the Cougars are featured are road games against B.C. Division opponents. First up, is a Oct.

The Prince George Cougars will make two appearances on Shaw TV during the 2013-14 Western Hockey League season.

Both times the Cougars are featured are road games against B.C. Division opponents. First up, is a Oct. 16 (Wednesday) game in Victoria against the Royals and later in the season a Cougars versus Rockets clash in Kelowna will be televised, Tuesday, Feb. 25. Game time for both is 7 p.m.

Overall there will be 32 WHL games broadcast on Shaw during the season, starting Thursday when the Regina Pats host the Swift Current Broncos as the regular season gets underway. The pre-game show and first night festivities begin at 5 p.m. Pacific time.

Shaw will also carry a series from each of the four playoff rounds, including the league final as the teams battle for the Ed Chynoweth Cup, for the third consecutive season. The 2013-14 season marks the 10th season Shaw has partnered with the WHL.

The WHL games are broadcast across Western Canada from Manitoba to B.C.
