With their second round selection, 28th overall, in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft, the Prince George Cougars are proud to select defenceman Jonas Harkins (North Vancouver, B.C.).
Harkins checks in a 6'2", weighs 190 pounds and spent the 2014-15 with the North Shore Winter Club and played a big part in their 2015 Western Canadian Bantam AAA Championship run. During the 2014-15 season, Harkins scored three goals, added nine assists and 22 penalty minutes.
He was also named an all-star at the B.C. Cup, which took place in April in Salmon Arm.
