Terik Parascak got the first goal and he was unassisted at 11:18 in the first period.
On a Cougar power play Ethan Samson scored with an assist from Keaton Dowhaniuk at 13:29.

The Giants answered that when Mazden Leslie scored with an assist by Justin Ivanusecat at 15:13
