The last time the Prince George Cougars pulled off a 'name-player' deal with the Saskatoon Blades, the results were anything but mixed.

Remember the Devin Setoguchi transaction? And the run to the Western Conference final the Cougars made not so many moons ago?

The Cougars and Blades hooked up for a trade on Monday, one that immediately had eyebrows raising around the league -- heading this way is two-way forward Charles Inglis, 18, with a second-round bantam draft choice in 2011 now property of the Blades.

The first question -- why would Inglis, a Winnipeg product who has 30 goals combined through two full seasons, be available?

"We were surprised, too, but we're glad to add him," said Cougars general manager Dallas Thompson.
