Condors win opener at provincials

The Condors face a much stiffer test today on the provincial court when they take on the No. 2 South Kamloops Titans starting at 3:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, at the double-A boys provincial tournament, also in Langley, the north central zone-champion D.P. Todd Trojans lost their opening game 72-68 to the No. 7 Seacove Seahawks of North Vancouver.

The Trojans, who carried an honourable mention ranking into the 16-team tournament, will face the R.C. Palmer Griffins of Richmond today at 10:15 a.m.

The Griffins also had honourable mention status heading into provincials.
