Meanwhile, in boys high school results last weekend in Burns Lake, the D.P. Todd Trojans lived up to their billing as the top-seed at the five-team north central zone double-A championship. Fueled by the talent of tournament all-stars Cameron Sale, Raymon Dhillon, Holden Black and Mike Schwab, the Trojans defeated the Dawson Creek Penguins 92-51 in Saturday's final.

Lakes District of Burns Lake finished third. The Kelly Road Roadrunners and Nechako Valley Vikings also played in the tournament.

Sale was named the tournament's most valuable player. The first all-star team included Dhillon, Black and Saagar Shergill, all of D.P. Todd, Kai Sterling of Dawson Creek and Avery Wilson of Lakes District. Schwab was selected to the second-team along with Tanner Groves of Dawson Creek, Will Pippie of Nechako Valley and Lakes District starters Spencer Brown and Logan Thompson.

The Trojan roster also includes Adam Lee, Christopher Magrath and Mason Obranovic. Greg Sale and Cayle Davidson are the D.P. Todd coaches.
