It's Condor Classic time and that can only mean school is out for the Christmas holidays as of this weekend.
The annual high school girls and boys play day/tournament starts today at 3 p.m. on two courts at Duchess Park secondary school.
The girls begin with Nechako Valley of Vanderhoof taking on the Prince George Polars at 3, while the Duchess Park boys will face the Kelly Road Roadrunners at the same time.
At 4:45 p.m., College Heights plays Correlieu of Quesnel on the boys court, while the Duchess Park girls tip off against the College Heights Cougars.
Then at 6:30 p.m., Kelly Road plays PGSS (boys) and PGSS tangles with Nechako Valley (girls).
The last games of the day at 8:15 p.m. feature girls teams. College Heights plays the Cedars Christian Eagles and Duchess Park is matched with the D.P. Todd Trojans. The play day resumes Friday with games at 8:30 and 10:15 a.m., noon, 1:45, 3:30 and 5:15 p.m.
