Bring the skates, have some fun.
A community-wide event, dubbed PG Skates, will be held Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Outdoor Ice Oval behind CN Centre. While taking laps at the oval, families will also have the chance to enjoy music, clowns, face-painting and hot chocolate. As well, members of the Prince George Blizzard speed skating club will be on hand to demonstrate one of the sports that will be front and centre during the 2015 Canada Winter Games in Prince George.
This is the third annual PG Skates. It is hosted by the EnhancePG Committee and the Outdoor Ice Oval Society.
