Runners, walkers and relay teams will hit the pavement Sunday morning for the 39th annual Labour Day Classic.
There was 45 competitors signed up to participate as of Friday in one of six events: 17 mile run, five kilometre run, 8.5 metre run or walk, a kids one-kilometre fun run. Two teams from Nechako Valley secondary school in Vanderhoof signed up for the 3x3 relay.
The 17-mile run gets underway at 9 a.m., while the kid's fun run starts at 9:15. The 8.5 metre and five kilometre events begin at 9:45. All events start and end at the Civic Centre.
Participants can pick up their race-day packages today at the Civic Centre between 4 and 6 p.m.
