The teams expected to advance to the Prince George High School Basketball City League championship games did exactly that Wednesday night in semifinal playoffs.

What that means in the senior girls division is the College Heights Cougars (4-0 in the regular season) will play the defending-champion Duchess Park Condors (3-0) in the City League final Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Duchess Park gym.

The Cougars defeated the Cedars Christian Eagles 64-44 in the semifinal, while Duchess hammered the Kelly Road Roadrunners 105-16.

The boys final features the Duchess Park Condors (3-0) against the Prince George Polars (3-1), The Condors advanced with a 61-41 semifinal win over the D.P. Todd Trojans, who won the boys title in 2014. The Polars eliminated the Kelly Road Roadrunners from title contention with a 96-82 semifinal victory.

The PGSS-Duchess Park boys final starts Tuesday at 8 p.m., also at Duchess Park.
