City basketball starts tonight

The road to declare the best senior basketball team in Prince George begins this week. The Prince George City Basketball championships tip off this Monday (tonight) with the senior girls semifinals, followed by the senior boys Wednesday night.

The Prince George City Basketball championships tip off this Monday (tonight) with the senior girls semifinals, followed by the senior boys Wednesday night.

The Duchess Park Condors host the College Heights Cougars at 5:15 p.m., while the PGSS Polars host the Cedars Christian School Eagles at 6:15 p.m.

The Eagles are the defending city champions.

In senior boys play, the D.P. Todd Trojans host the Duchess Park Condors at 6:15 p.m. while the PGSS Polars hosts Kelly Road at 8 p.m.

The Condors are the defending city champions.

Winners of all four games will battle for city bragging rights in the finals on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at the Northern Sport Centre. The senior girls tip off at 6 p.m., followed by the boys at 8 p.m.
