After the first two weeks in the CFL pics game:

Ted Clarke didn't play last week; 2-2 overall

Peter James 1-3 last week; 5-3 overall

Sheri Lamb 3-1 last week; 5-3 overall

Mark Nielsen didn't play last week; 2-2 overall

Roughriders (2-0) at Argonauts (1-1)

Tonight (4:30 p.m., TSN)

Clarke - Kory Sheets runs rampant again. Pick: Roughriders by five.

James - The Roughriders have the league's most potent ground attack (147.5 yards per game) led by Kory Sheets, while the Argonauts have the second worst rushing defence (131.5 yards per game). Pick: Riders by four.

Lamb - Ricky Ray and the Argos are looking to get back on a winning track against the only undefeated team in the league. Pick: Argos by three.

Nielsen - Roughriders face a short week and a road game against an angry Argos team who failed to score a major against the Lions last week. Pick: Argos by 10.

Stampeders (1-1) at Alouettes (1-1)

Friday (4:30 p.m., TSN)

Clarke - Kevin Glenn to the rescue. Pick: Stamps by three.

James - Anthony Calvillo has the lowest quarterback efficiency rating among starters at 65.9. The Alouettes are hoping it is a matter of the future Hall of Famer adjusting to a new system rather than age finally catching up with the start. Pick Stampeders by three.

Lamb - Kevin Glenn will replace the oft-injured Drew Tate behind centre for the Stamps, but they should still be able to get back to the win column against the disorganized Als. Pick: Stamps by 10.

Nielsen - Suddenly two top teams look a little vulnerable. If the Stamps can put the heat on Anthony Calvillo like the Bombers did last week, home field advantage will mean nothing for the Als. Pick: Stamps by 10.

Blue Bombers (1-1) at Tiger-Cats (0-2)

Saturday (3:30 p.m., TSN)

Clarke - Time for the Ti-cats to bust the goose egg. Pick: Ti-cats by seven.

James - With Tiger-Cats QB Henry Burris throwing for the most yards through two weeks (595), this week will prove whether the Blue Bombers defence, minus injured sack leader Bryant Turner, is as good as advertised. Pick: Ticats by two.

Lamb - The Blue Bombers defence will be tested against a hungry Ti-Cats team desperate for a win and without CFL defensive player of the week Bryant Turner. Pick: Bombers by seven.

Nielsen - Bombers will need to repeat last week's defensive effort to stand a chance against the talented Tiger-Cats. Pick: Ti-Cats by 14.

Lions (1-1) at Eskimos (1-1)

Saturday (6:30 p.m., TSN)

Clarke - Injured Lions still have teeth. Pick: Lions by 10.

James - The Eskimos will go as far as their defence will carry them this year, but are in tough against a Lions team with a balanced offensive attack. Pick: Lions by seven.

Lamb - After a amateurish start, the Lions looked good last week in a win versus the Argos and they should build on that against the Eskimos to get their first road win. Pick: Lions by 10.

Nielsen - Lions will have had 10 days off by the time they roll into Commonwealth and if anyone knows Mike Reilly's tendencies, B.C. does. Either way it will be a track meet. Pick: Lions by 10.
