After three weeks in the CFL picks game:
Ted Clarke 4-0 last week; 6-2 overall
Peter James 4-0 last week; 9-3 overall
Sheri Lamb 2-2 last week; 7-5 overall
Mark Nielsen 3-1 last week; 5-3 overall
Argonauts (1-2) at Blue Bombers (1-2)
Tonight (5 p.m., TSN)
Clarke - Too many black and blue Bombers to beat the defending champs. Pick: Argos by nine.
James - The Blue Bombers bumbling offence finally gets it together against an Argonauts defence that pales in comparison to last year's championship unit. Pick: Bombers by four.
Lamb - Toughest game to predict of the week as both teams try to find their groove. Pick: Bombers by three.
Nielsen - This will be a close one but home field atmosphere will work to Bombers' advantage. Pick: Winnipeg by three.
Alouettes (1-2) at Stampeders (2-1)
Friday (4 p.m., TSN)
Clarke - The Als looked confused last week on home turf. It won't get better in the rematch at McMahon. Pick: Stamps by 12
James - The Alouettes look completely discombobulated and it's taking its toll on the Canadian Football Hall of Fame quarterback Anthony Calvillo. Pick: Stampeders by 12.
Lamb - The Stampede has left Calgary but expect the Stamps to be bullish as they sweep both ends of the home-and-home series. Pick: Stamps by 13.
Nielsen - Calvillo's public meltdown following last week's loss won't help the Als' cause in rematch. Pick: Calgary by eight.
Eskimos (1-2) at Lions (2-1)
Saturday (7 p.m., TSN)
Clarke - Mike Reilly and company turn the tables for the upset of the week. Pick: Eskimos by two.
James - With the fancy new roof over B.C. Place, the Eskimos won't endure another monsoon, alas the dry conditions will only unleash the Lions' offence. Pick: Lions by 10.
Lamb - Mike Reilly has a long night ahead of him as he returns to B.C. Place. Pick. Lions by 10.
Nielsen - Lions will pick up where they left off once the rain died down last week at Commonwealth. Pick: B.C. by 12.
Tiger-Cats (1-2) at Roughriders (3-0)
Sunday (4 p.m., TSN)
Clarke - 'Riders will run roughshod over CFL's weakest defence and stay undefeated. Pick: Roughies by 14.
James - Kent Austin gets polite applause upon his return to Saskatchewan but the Roughriders generate even louder cheers after a fourth straight win. Pick: Riders by six.
Lamb - The last time Kent Austin was in Regina he had just coached the Riders to the 2007 Grey Cup; based on the first three weeks of the season it appears the Roughriders will capture the Holy Grail again in 2013. Pick: Riders by 10.
Nielsen - Roughriders will make it 4-0 in what could be a Grey Cup preview - unless the Lions prove me right. Pick: Saskatchewan by three.
