Cats look to Rocket past Royals

With a win tonight, the Prince George Cougars will pass the Victoria Royals for second place in the Western Hockey League's B.C. Division. The Cougars will be in Kelowna to take on the division-leading Rockets.

With a win tonight, the Prince George Cougars will pass the Victoria Royals for second place in the Western Hockey League's B.C. Division.

The Cougars will be in Kelowna to take on the division-leading Rockets. Heading into the game, the Cats have a 27-16-1-1 record, good for 56 points. As for the Royals, they sit at 26-15-2-3 and 57 points but have played one extra game. The Cougars will draw even in games tonight.

The Cougars and Rockets haven't met since Oct. 30 in Kelowna. That night, the Cats prevailed 2-1. Their overall record against the Rockets this season is 2-2.

The Cougars are coming off a 6-4 win in Vancouver on Saturday. They'll be back on CN Centre ice Friday and Saturday against the Kamloops Blazers.
