The Prince George peewee Tier 3 Cougars responded to a stinging loss with a blowout victory.
On Saturday in Quesnel, the Cougars were leading the Quesnel Thunder 3-1 going into the third period but gave up three unanswered goals and lost 4-3. The next day, the Cougars were all business and skated to a 9-0 win.
Saturday's goal-scorers were Dawson Day, Reid Mosdell and Tommy Kreitz. William Tanemura took the loss in net.
On Sunday, Mosdell and Nolan Dancy both finished with hat tricks. Colby Clarke added two goals and three assists and Kreitz scored once. William Beaupre picked up the win in net.
The Cougars and Thunder are rivals in the Cariboo Amateur Hockey Association.
