The AAA Midget hockey Cariboo Cougars have taken their fourth win during the Mac's tournament held in Calgary.
The most recent win took place Friday morning against Edmonton's South Side Athletic Club BP Athletics with a final score of 7-1 at the Father David Bauer Arena.
That means the local midget team goes into the quarter finals undefeated.
During the game against the Athletics, Hunter Floris led the team with two goals and two assists while the rest of the goals came from Ty Kolle, Darian Long, Jeremy Gervais, Jesse Pomeroy and Jarin Sutton.
The Cougars, who are part of Pool 2, will play the Pool 4 winners this morning in the quarter finals, with the semi-finals taking place later today and the finals going on Sunday.
The Northern Capitals of Prince George have completed their four round robin games with a victory over the Fraser Valley Rush, 5-0, and losses to Calgary Fire, 3-1, Saskatoon Stars, 8-1, and to the San Jose Jr. Sharks Friday that saw a score of 3-0. That concludes the Capitals Mac's tournament play.
