The Cariboo Cougars will finalize their roster this weekend prior to the start of the 2015-16 B.C. Hockey Major Midget League season.
The fall camp begins Friday at 5 p.m. and concludes Saturday at 9 p.m.
After the team's summer camp in early August, the roster was whittled down from 100 to 45 players from across northern B.C.
Once the team is selected on Sunday, the Cougars will play in five pre-season games beginning Sept. 10 in Kamloops against the Thompson Blazers.
The puck drops on the regular season on Sept. 19 and 20 when the Cougars host the Valley West Hawks at Kin 1.
All practices and games this weekend are at CN Centre. The schedule is as follows:
Friday, Sept. 4
5 p.m. Player check-in
6:45 - 7:45 p.m. Team 1 practice
8 - 9 p.m. Team 2 practice
Saturday, Sept. 5
7:30 - 8:30 a.m. Team 1 practice
8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Team 2 practice
11 a.m. - noon Team 1 and 2 fitness testing
1 - 2 p.m. Goalie session (this is for goalies only)
2:30 - 3:30 p.m. Game 1
7 - 9 p.m. Game 2
