Bill Cameron and his Prince George rink are all in it for the first time, trying to win the Canadian Direct Insurance B.C. men's curling championship in Vancouver.
On Wednesday they tasted defeat for the first time, losing 8-2 in the first draw to Andrew Bilesky of New Westminster, the defending B.C. champion. After blanking the first end, Bilesky scored three in the second and stole one in the third to take a 4-0 lead, and he remained in command the rest of the way.
Cameron and his team of third Mike Hansen, second Landon Blundell and lead Cale Rusnell went on to play Tom Bushy of Kimberley in the late draw Wednesday.
They were losing 8-3 after seven ends.
