Calgary Hitmen down Prince George Cougars 5-1 in WHL play Wednesday

CALGARY - Misha Fisenko scored twice to lead the Calgary Hitmen to a 5-1 win over the Prince George Cougars in Western Hockey League action Wednesday night.

Tyler Shattock had a goal and an assist for the Hitmen (41-17-2), while Joel Broda and Giffen Nyren also scored. Zak Stebner chipped in with a pair of assists.

Taylor Makin scored the lone goal for the Cougars (11-44-3).

Martin Jones made 23 saves for Calgary to improve his record to 27-11-0.

Hudson Stremmel started in net for Prince George but was pulled after giving up three goals on three shots by the 9:43 mark of the first period. Kyle Jahraus then made 15 saves for the Cougars in a relief appearance.
