Such were the rewards reaped by the Hart Judo Academy at the Pacific International tournament over the weekend in Richmond.
Lavanna Laass won bronze in two categories, finishing third in the under-21, under-63 kilogram class and senior women's under-63 kg class. Brendan Bellavance (under-21 -90 kilograms) and Grace Northrop (under-18, under- 52 kg) also claimed bronze,
The tournament included teams from Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, B.C. the United States, Czech Republic, and Japan.
