When the Prince George Youth Soccer Association season gets underway May 5 they'll be a sense of community at Rotary Park.
Each Saturday more than 6,000 players, coaches, referees, parents, grandparents and friends drop by the park to take in some of the action so the PGYSA is creating Soccer Saturday's with a variety of new programs for visitors to enjoy. In addition to watching soccer other activities going on include a reading and book exchange program, free draws including things like hockey season passes and dinners at Prince George restaurants, artisans onsite doing carvings, jewelry and weaving, live entertainment and a concession.
