The Prince George Spruce Kings have added skill and size to their blueline in the form of Max Coyle.
Coyle had six goals and 50 points in 49 games last season for the Listowel Cyclones of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League. The six-foot-one, 190-pounder then contributed one goal and 19 points in 25 playoff games - a run that saw the Cyclones win the Sutherland Cup as GOJHL champion.
Coyle, a 1998-born player, was in his third season with Listowel.
"We are excited to add Max to the Spruce Kings for the upcoming season," said head coach Adam Maglio. "Max brings strong leadership qualities that will translate well into our group. He will be a great addition to a strong defensive group, (someone) who can play 200 feet and be a contributor in all situations."
Coyle is from Tillsonburg, Ont.
