Sarah Beaudry's treasure chest is starting to overflow with national loot.

Beaudry, a member of the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club, raced to two gold medals and one silver at the Canadian Biathlon Championships, which concluded Sunday in Charlo, N.B.

Beaudry was golden in a 7.5-kilometre pursuit on Saturday and was unbeatable in a 6km sprint on Thursday. She opened nationals on Wednesday with silver in the 7.5km individual race. All her events were in the senior girls category.

In Saturday's 7.5km pursuit, Beaudry posted a time of 33 minutes 18.8 seconds. Including penalty loops, determined by the number of misses on the shooting range, that clocking was almost four minutes faster than Alberta's Danielle Vrielink (37:12.4). In four rounds of shooting -- two in the prone position and two in the standing -- Beaudry hit 14 of her 20 targets, tops in the field of 26 athletes. Vrielink went 10-for-20 with the rifle in her hands.

In her Thursday sprint race, Beaudry covered the 6km course in a time of 21:05 and, in two rounds of shooting, went 8-for-10. Vrielink, who also had two misses, finished second, 47 seconds off the lead.

In her silver-medal performance on Wednesday, Beaudry (38:28.6) was 58.9 seconds behind Vrielink (37:29.7). The difference in that race was in the shooting, which saw Vrielink miss three targets to Beaudry's six. Each miss translated into a one-minute overall penalty.

Earlier this winter, Beaudry was a star performer at the Canada Winter Games in Halifax. There, she claimed gold in the 7.5km sprint, bronze in the 12.5km individual race and bronze with Team B.C. in the 3.6km relay.

Prince George was well-represented at nationals. Other locals at the championships were Matt Neumann, Aaron Neumann, Arthur Roots and Robbie Martin.

In the men's 21-and-over division, Matt Neumann's best result was a silver-medal showing in the 20km individual race. He finished 17.1 seconds off the winning pace set by Saskatchewan's Scott Perras. Both athletes picked off 17 of 20 targets on the range. Matt Neumann also placed seventh in the 12.5km pursuit and ninth in the 10km sprint.

Aaron Neumann, who competed in the junior men's class, earned silver in the 12.5km pursuit. He was 2:48.7 behind race winner Aaron Gillmor of Alberta. In his other results, Aaron Neumann was third in the 10km sprint and eighth in the 15km individual event.

Roots, in the senior boys class, was sixth in the 7.5km individual race and 10th in both the 6km sprint and 7.5km pursuit.

As for Martin, he posted a pair of 14th-place finishes (7.5km sprint and 10km pursuit) and was 16th in the 12.5km individual race. Martin competed in the youth men category.
