Merchandise is now available online and at Cap-Abilities Embroidery & Silkscreening in Prince George for the 2022 BC Summer Games.
Created by local volunteers, the hats, clothing and bags reflect the summer sunsets and the tagline, Spirit Lives Here – Njan Tsen Ghuna– celebrates the surrounding forests and unceded traditional territory of the Lheidli T’enneh and the heart of athletes, hosts, coaches, and volunteers.
“Games official merchandise is such a significant component to the spirit of the Games. We are delighted to unveil the merchandise and open online sales to both athletes and the public,” Games president Renee McCloskey said. “We hope the community will support us in showing their Games spirit from now until the Games in July.”
A portion of the purchase of 2022 BC Summer Games SpiritWear will go to the Prince George 2022 BC Summer Games Legacy, which is distributed in the community after the Games wrap up. The games run from July 21 to 24.
